Pastor's History With The Church
Pastor Barnes was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois to the late Rev.Dr.Carsie Barnes Jr and Mrs.Mary Y Barnes.
Pastor Barnes accepted Christ at an early age at Antioch M.B.Church South under the leadership of his father who served as Pastor/Teacher for 34 years.
Pastor Barnes accepted his call into the ministry in May 1995.
Pastor Barnes became the Co-Pastor in 1999.
Pastor Barnes was elevated to Pastor/Teacher on February 1,2004.
Pastor Barnes serves as the 1st vice moderator for Salem District Association.
Treasurer for the Illinois National Home Mission Board.
Chairman of the Baptist General State Convention of Illinois late night service.
Member of the National Moderators of the National Baptist Convention USA Inc.
3rd vice President of the Pastor's Conference of Chicago & Vicinity.
